The marble pattern flowing through the acrylic is like a veil covering the nib, which is the “face” of the fountain pen.
It is made possible because it is a transparent base, and it is tailored to make both the inside and outside attractive.
For the first time, “VEILIO”, which combines veil and color (iro), has been dyed, and a new “tone” with a deeper veil will be released.
◆Acrylic cutting materials and dyeing
Ordinary acrylic cutting materials are polished to a clean surface after being carved into a product shape, but it is difficult to polish and finish the inner surface, and until now, it was not possible to remove noticeable cut marks with transparent materials. VEILIO has gone through a machining process using special blades, carefully carving out each piece one by one to achieve a smooth finish on the inner surface.
This time, this acrylic cutting material was dyed for the first time, and the transparent parts were also slightly colored to bring out a new look. By wearing a deeper veil, you can enjoy VEILIO in a different way.
